Santa!

We needed to go to the mall today, so we decided to stop and see Santa. The boys needed to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Of course the line was very long and we waited for over an hour. The kids did really well while we waited since the mall had a play area right next to Santa. The mall also had a whole bunch of candy machines right next to the play place and each kid had to try to get candy without any money.

I thought for sure Celeste would be afraid and cry. She'll fuss when someone standing next to me holds her. I put her on Santa's lap and quickly moved away so Shawn could quickly snap a couple shots before she screamed her head off. WRONG. She turned and looked at Santa and kept wanting to touch his beard, but not sure she REALLY wanted to touch it. I was very surprised she did so well.

After waiting so long, Treyton didn't even tell Santa what he wanted. Treyton wanted to sit on his lap again so he could tell him what he wanted. No way were we going to wait an hour again, so instead we discussed the "letter to Santa"method of telling Santa what you want for Christmas. We should try doing the letter next year instead of standing in line for an hour.
