Movie Time

Here are the boys watching a movie on a lazy Saturday. Usually this little dvd player is in their room, but for some reason they brought it out to the living room where they could've watched the movie on the regular tv.

Our First Swim

This wasn't our warmest day of the year, but still very warm. The boys wanted to get the pool out. The boys kept splashing Celeste when she got close to the pool, which she didn't really like (and the water was very cold). I just dipped her toes in and she kept her feet tucked up close to her body and fussed. She did not enjoy swimming, so I took her inside and put her to bed.
Even though the water was freezing cold, the boys still enjoyed the pool. They would run from the fence and jump in the pool.
Wade is not drinking the water (ok maybe he is--no, probably he is), he is just getting the water into his mouth. . .
. . .to do this.
And now Treyton's turn to get Wade.

So Tired!

Upon arriving home from picking Treyton up from school, he promptly goes into the pantry for a snack. Not this day. He did sit down at the table, but instead of eating he did this.
Treyton has never taken a nap after kindergarten before. I don't think he was feeling very well this day. My poor little baby.

Sleepy boys

This picture was taken at 7:40 pm on a Saturday night. We must be a boring family.
Oops, I got caught taking a picture.

New Glasses

After many, many years I finally got new glasses back in January. My honest optometrist mentioned how dated my glasses were. Before:

Do these look better Dr. Noakes?

Mohawk Baby

This is when we got home from walking Treyton to school (1.1 mile each way=2.2 miles total). Wade and Celeste in the double stroller and both still in their pajamas. Occasionally Wade does get dressed before we leave. Today just before we got to the door of Treyton's school to drop him off, a group of 6th grade boys passed us (they enter the school through a different door). Celeste was waving at them for some reason and so she had the boys attention. Just after the group passed I heard one of the boys say "it's a mohawk baby." I looked down at my sweet baby girl and I can see why the boy said that.
Now let me explain a few things about why her hair does this "mohawk" thing. She has 2 cowlicks on each side of her head that makes her hair lay more in the middle of the top of her head. Also, the only hair long enough to put in a pony tail is the hair on the top of her head. So when the elastic is taken out at night, her hair still kinda remains bunched up in the middle of her head. But it is very cute with those little curls that I love.

Celeste likes to pull or push Wade forward or back depending on which way she wants him to go.

Since Celeste was maybe around 8 months, she's been a patter. If you pat her on the back, she'll pat you back. She is always patting Wade on the back in the stroller. I love her little pat pats.

She's so pushy

For the past week this girl has been pushing this walker all around the house. She'll push the walker or the stool for up to an hour at a time. She loves walking!!

She can really move fast, so it's much easier to get back shots of her walking.

Here's the stool she likes to push. She's even started putting things on the stool when she pushes it. The boys use this stool to wash their hands at the kitchen sink. Often they can not find it, I have to remind them to just look around the house because Celeste has pushed it somewhere else.

Not the best quality picture, but a cute one of Celeste and Wade.
