Oatmeal

I do not really like oatmeal unless it's been super sweetened. I tried oatmeal with the boys but they didn't like it much and I never made it very often. But with Celeste I was determined to make it often enough that she would like it and she does. She'll eat a whole serving herself.
Notice in her hand is a wad of oatmeal.

Oatmeal clumps well enough that she can eat it without a spoon (she's still working on that skill) and not make a huge mess. I finally found success with my third child. Yeah!!

Riding her first trike

Almost every time we go into the garage to go somewhere, Celeste whines and wiggles and tries to get down so she can ride her trike.

She can get on and off all by herself and make it move.

Here's her little shoes that she MUST wear now that she is a walker. She's not very good at keeping them on. A friend gave me a pair of Robeez and they are great!

She loves to push things (her little walker and stool) and now her little trike is another option she has to push. While getting off her trike she got her foot stuck and face planted on the concrete and gave herself a bloody lip. Of course she was ready to get back on as soon as I held her for a minute.

Valentine's Day

Here are the beautiful flowers my wonderful husband got me for valentine's day.

I thought this flower was interesting. We didn't really do much for valentine's day since our gifts were pretty expensive. Instead of going out to dinner (which is not very relaxing and fun with 3 little kids), we picked up Panda Express for us and McDonalds for the kids. I know this isn't the most romantic dinner, but everyone got fed. We love our new gifts and spend way to much time playing with them. I love my handsome, kind, patient, helpful and loving husband. Happy Valentine's Day! One of these years we'll go on a romantic trip for Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Party

Treyton had his class valentine's party.
Here he is making a valentine picture frame.
And playing bingo with conversation hearts (which they could eat afterwards).

They got to make their own ice cream sundaes and choose from a ton of toppings. They gave each kid 3 scoops of ice cream. I don't even eat that much in one sitting.

If you haven't noticed in most of the pictures Wade is standing next to Treyton, just watching. They offered him ice cream (which he does like), but he said no. He did say yes to juice though.

They traded valentine's in the morning, but had to wait until the party to see what they got. Treyton is checking out his stash.

This is Treyton's teacher Ms. Craig checking out her stash and let me tell you, her bag was FULL.

Still checking his stash, this time Wade came to see too.

Outside!!

I haven't really let Celeste outside to play much, except on the trampoline and to swing last summer. She usually looked like this while the boys would be playing outside.
So, today I finally let her play outside and she immediately went to the slide.
She tries to walk up the slide. She hasn't figured out that there is a ladder to the slide and I have not shown her yet.

Wade showing off how strong he is.

Celeste would scream and cry every time one of the boys would slide down. She stayed at the bottom of the slide, so the boys would always hit her on their way down. Her cries and screams were more because she was mad and frustrated that the boys kept getting on the slide and not from being hurt.

Kindergarten Performance

All the kindergarten classes performed at the PTA meeting. This is Treyton's class in their yellow class t-shirts. Each class had on a different color t-shirt and sang a cute song about their color.
I realize this picture is blurry, but it's cute because you can see him doing his hand motions.

Our Christmas Gift

This was our big family gift for Christmas. The kids have loved jumping and are slowing trying more and more tricks. It's great living in Texas because the kids can jump year round.

Even Celeste loves the trampoline.
Wade doing a trick (just bouncing on his bum).

Here's Treyton doing a somersault. I know one day this will turn into an actual front flip.
