Clearing the Table

I was clearing the table after dinner and I couldn't find Celeste's plate. I asked Shawn if he put it in the dishwasher. Nope. I was a little confused as to where her plate could've gone. I asked Celeste where her plate was and she led me here.

I'll just add that she didn't like the dinner too much either. Thanks for helping clear the table Celeste.

Scissors Time

Shawn gave Celeste scissors for the first time. She cut really well with them. Thank goodness her hair is still short. Hopefully she won't become her own hairstylist.

Trailblazer Award

Treyton won the Trailblazer Award at school in November. They hand out the awards at the PTA meetings, but they didn't have one in December. So now in January he is finally receiving his award. Here he is says the school creed with other kids who won the same award from different grades and classes.

Each kid was suppose to say their first and last name and teacher. So each kid said "My first name is _____ my last name is ______". The principal said to just say their name altogether but the kids still said their names the same way until the 4th or 5th graders. (They start with K and go up to 6th grade.) Here's Treyton saying his first name and his last name.

Waiting for Grandma and Grandpa

Treyton had the blinds open and he was watching outside for Grandma and Grandpa Hammond to arrive. They ran into detours and slow traffic and ended up arriving later than planned. Treyton tried so hard to stay awake for them. But after raking leaves and cleaning house, poor kid was tuckered out.
